St. Patrick’s Day is all about the luck of the Irish, but when it comes to running, we make our own luck. There’s no four leaf clover that will bring us to our next personal best. Instead, running is about enjoying the run happy miles and striving for our own pot of gold, whatever that may be.
This year, we wanted to celebrate the spirit of at local St. Patrick’s Day races across the country by hosting a contest. Starting today, we want you to snap a leprechaun selfie! Upload your photo to Twitter or Instagram, tag it with #runlucky and you will automatically be entered to win an entry into a Rock ‘n’ Roll series of your choice in the United States, except for Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas. (Sorry, it’s a popular race.)
But back to this “leprechaun selfie” thing, what does that entail? Good question! A leprechaun selfie can be any picture of you with a leprechaun. This leprechaun can be real, fake or in sticker form. All we ask is that you showcase the spirit of the run with a leprechaun in view. Selfie sticks are permitted. If you would rather have someone else take a picture of you and your leprechaun, we understand and you will still be entered to win.
Are you not yet on a social media platform? No problem, upload your photo directly at brooksrunning.com/runlucky to be eligible.
The contest ends on March 17 at 11:59 p.m. What are you waiting for? Go find your leprechaun!
Who knows, maybe you will even find a pot of gold.
