The Adrenaline GTS 15 Wins Runner’s World’s Best Update Award

Earlier this month, we released the 15th edition of the Adrenaline GTS. And on top of all that we’re excited about in the shoe, Runners World gave the Adrenaline GTS 15 its Best Update Award! “What’s been updated?” you ask. Allow us to fill you in.

In case you didn’t know: the Adrenaline GTS is our top-selling shoe. The amazing combination of support, cushioning and smooth transition is why it’s loved by millions of runners. The 15th edition has some great updates: (1) BioMoGo DNA is an adaptable, blended cushioning system that tunes the ride and energy return to each and every runner’s step; (2) A full-length segmented crash pad delivers a super smooth and consistent heel-to-toe transition and helps cushioning; (3) No-Sew Overlays result in a more comfortable in-shoe feel by minimizing stitching that can create irritation points.

The Adrenaline GTS 15 comes with industry the leading Progressive Diagonal Rollbar (PDRB®) to keep you supported in all the right places during your stride by gently slowing the internal rotation of the foot, providing exceptional support that doesn’t feel clunky. Stable and smooth, the best of both worlds.

And let’s talk more about this smooth transition. BioMoGo DNA provides amazing cushioning that instantaneously adapts to every unique step offering a cushioned ride. The Full-Length Segmented Crash Pad is complimentary to provide a buttery smooth heel to toe transition. Mmm, butter.

On top of it all, the Adrenaline GTS 15 comes outfitted with our Profile Sockliner.  This sockliner is contoured to mirror the shape of the foot. This brings more of the foot in contact with the ground allowing forces to be dispersed over a greater surface area, translating to a more cushioned and comfortable ride.

This dependable shoe is great for those who need some support. And if you need some support to get you out the door today: you inspire us when you perspire. Now get out there and Run Happy!

I’ve been a loyal Adrenaline wearer since version 6. I’ve gotta say, this is the worst version FOR ME. To start, it is much more snug & stiff than previous versions. If I were an orthotics wearer, I would take them to try these on: the volume dimension seems much diminished. But what did me in was the pressure on my peroneus tendon. The outer edge of my feet were so sore they felt bruised & raw. Walking was painful well into the next day.
I took them back to the store & exchanged them for another pair of the GTS 14. Every foot is different & this may a great show for others, but for me its a huge disappointment (especially since the orange colour is awesome!). I’ll try to fnd a couple more pair of version 14 & start looking for a new shoe for 2015. 🙁
