Distance Standout Ryan Vail Re-Signs With Brooks Running

Brooks will continue running happy with Ryan Vail now that the distance running standout re-signed as one of our sponsored athletes. As he toes the line for the New York Marathon, we couldn’t be happier!

Vail joined Brooks after graduating from the national-championship winning Oklahoma State team in 2009 and has been a highlight of our professional team ever since. Vail ran 2:12 in the marathon at the 2012 Olympic Trials, his first-ever attempt at that distance, lowered his 10K personal record to 27:44 earlier this year and his marathon training to date sets him up for success in New York on Sunday.

Ryan Vail embodies the Run Happy spirit and is an example for runners of all levels and ages; we’re excited to keep him in the Brooks family and look forward to continued results as we deepen our dedication to the sport of running.

Run, Ryan, run!

Look for him and Amy Hastings on the course on Sunday. We’ll also have some of our sponsored runners signing as well!
