Run Signature: Exploring the Connect Experience

The Brooks Connect experience is defined by being flexible and lightweight to create a natural connection to the run. Lace up a Connect shoe and you’ll feel your feet activate and get you through your run.

This month, we’re looking at each of the four Run Signature footwear experiences. With Run Signature, once we assess how your body wants to run (the biomechanics part of the shoe fitting equation), we give you the choice of what experience you have on the run: Cushion, Energize, Connect or Speed. But don’t feel bound to just one, you can pick which experience you want on any given day for any given run. Dive into the Cushion experience and the Energize experience and stay tuned for information on the Speed experience.

Our friend Mick Mominee wrote this about the Connect experience and the PureFlow shoe:

PureFlow is all you need to know.

Light and bright, these shoes changed my form.

Moving my strike to forefoot with delight, have injuries transformed.

I now run with chi feeling the road, flowing through the miles, not carrying a load.

Endurance or speed, these shoes have what I need.

I really cannot throw them away; I wear a pair each day.

One for housework, another to log miles, and a new pair on my shelf, ready for new trials.

PureFlow is my shoe having tried all the rest,

these Brooks make me feel like I’m running my best!
