Giving an athlete the shoes off his own feet. Running a two-mile warm up with his team everyday while battling lung cancer. Buying team uniforms with his personal coach’s stipend. These are just a few of the amazing acts of the 26 finalists for the 2013 Inspiring Coaches program that Brooks gets to name today.

In its third year, the program recognizes high school track and cross country coaches who motivate their team and community through meaningful and lasting leadership.
