Ode to Brooks Running

We got a lot of feedback on the new BrooksRunning.com . Okay, so we sweetened the deal by promising a pair of free Brooks shoes to three random feedbackers, but we were still amazed and delighted by the amount of thoughtful feedback and just plain Brooks love we got from y’all.

One writer, Chris Quinn, went above and beyond and submitted this poem…

Ode to Brooks Running

There was an alert, "Come see our new site",
I had a few minutes so I figured I might.

There are buttons for blogs, Brooks jocks, and for tech,

The site drew me in, so I thought, "What the heck".

On the homepage there’s a Ghost that appears with a light,
When you turn off the switch the shoe glows in the night.
You can browse all the footwear for women and men,
There are shoes for the pavement, and for where the roads end.

The clothing’s designed to transfer your sweat,
They’re more functional and stylish than anything yet.
A jacket, a zip tee, even socks for your toes,
And Nightlife for darkness so cars see where you go.

I enjoyed my first visit, many times I’ll return,
It’s often updated with new facts to be learned.
The layout is clever, the graphics are snappy,
To paraphrase a songster, "Don’t Worry.  Run Happy".

Great work, Chris! Thanks for your True Blue love.
