Brooks Team Indiana - USATF Championships Preview

Brooks Team Indiana will send 5 athletes to the 2009 USATF National Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon, to be held June 25-28, 2009.  Below is a list of athletes competing, their competition schedule, and a short bio:
TyNica Davis
-Competing in the women’s 800m.  Prelims Thursday June 25, semi-finals Friday June 26, Finals Sunday June 28.
-4th in the 2009 USATF Indoor Championships 800m
-12th at the 2008 USA Olympic Trials 800m
-personal best of 2:03.22
-enters the Championships with the #12 seed time
-graduate of Southern Illinois University
Jordan Fife
-Competing in the men’s 3000m steeplechase (also entered in the men’s 5000m). Steeplechase prelims Thursday June 25, finals Saturday June 27 (5000m finals Friday June 26).
-7th in the 2009 USATF Indoor Championship 1500m
-22nd at the 2008 US Olympic Trials 3000m steeplechase
-8th in the 2008 USATF Indoor Championship 1500m
-19th in the 2007 USATF Outdoor Championship 3000m steeplechase
-personal bests of 8:36.69 (steeple), 13:41.64 (5000m), 3:59.75 (mile)
-enters the Championships with the #10 seed time
-graduate of Indiana State University
Jeremy Johnson
-Competing in the men’s 10,000m. Finals Thursday June 25.
-USA Championships debut
-Personal best of 28:33.08
-enters the Championships with the #23 seed time
-graduate of University of New Mexico
Amanda Lorenzen
-Competing in the women’s 3000m steeplechase. Prelims Friday June 26, finals Sunday June 28
-7th at the 2008 US Olympic Trials 3000m steeplechase
-10th at the 2007 USATF Outdoor Championships 3000m steeplechase
-Personal best of 9:49.74
-enters the Championships with the #10 seed time
-graduate of Concordia University (WI)
Derek Scott
-Competing in the men’s 1500m (also entered in the men’s 5000m). Prelims Thursday June 25, finals Sunday June 28
-USA Championships debut
-personal bests of 3:39.63 (1500m), 3:57.87 (mile), 13:47.28 (5000m)
-enters the championships with the #13 seed time
-graduate of Cornerstone University
