The Twin Cities Marathon hosted the U.S. Men’s Marathon Championships yesterday and Brooks placed four athletes in the top nine!! The race broke open in the last few miles, but for most of the race Hansons-Brooks athlete Mike Morgan led the field.

“Brooksie Half Marathon” in Michigan (yes, that is really the race name)  In the inaugural race with over 2500 competitors, four Hansons-Brooks athletes took the top four spots!

On the team side of things Brooks hosted two of the biggest cross country meets in the country between the Sunfair Invitational in Yakima, WA and the Paul Short Run in Bethlehem, PA.

Brooks VIP Porta Potty

This year, runners at the Marine Corps Marathon are in for a special treat: any runner wearing Brooks MCM 2008 apparel or Brooks shoes on race day earns the special privilege of using the Brooks VIP Porta Potty.

Perks of the potty include flushing toilets, partitioned stalls, climate control, a fragrance dispenser, hot and cold water, auto shut-off faucets, an oak vanity and mirror, along with a team of Brooks bathroom attendants.

Look for the Brooks VIP Porta Potty before the start of the race on October 26!
